Purpose of the Fund

The Christian Leadership Development Fund exists for the training and equipping of Christian leaders for cross-cultural ministry. Donations to the fund are welcome, and are receipted by Corazón Ministries for income tax purposes.

Criteria for Selecting Fund Recipients

a) Candidates must agree wholeheartedly with  Corazón Mission Statement and its Statement of Faith.

b) Candidates must be actively involved in some phase of the ministry of Corazón and/or a local church, where they are discovering and utilizing their gifts, talents and abilities to further the cause of Christ, primarily within the context as described in the Corazón Mission Statement . References may be required to validate such ministry.

c) Candidates must provide a written request, outlining:

• name, address, telephone number, and home church,

• the project or training program,

• how the project or program will better equip them for ministry,

• the financial assistance required, and

• why such assistance is necessary.

Application Procedures

a) Applications must be submitted no later than two months in advance of the desired project or program dates, and addressed to Christian Leadership Development Fund, Corazón Ministries, 1955 W Grant Rd., Suite 220, Tucson, AZ 85745.

b) Upon receiving an application, an interview will be arranged.

c) Applications will then be considered for acceptance or rejection by the Corazón Ministries Board at its monthly meeting. Candidates will be notified within one week following this meeting as to the acceptance or rejection of an application.
