
Michael Alameda
Mike Alameda, born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, co-founded Corazón Ministries in 1994 with his wife Claire. After years in printing and business, he followed God’s call to missions. Today, he leads Corazón, reaching Hispanic communities, mentoring leaders, and equipping believers to share Christ through culturally rooted ministry and discipleship.

Claire Alameda
Claire Alameda, born in Los Angeles, accepted Christ after high school. She earned a political science degree from the University of Arizona, where she began her career. In 1992, she and her husband Mike launched Corazón Ministries. Claire now leads Women’s Ministries, passionately mentoring and discipling Hispanic and Latino women in Christ.

Enrique Garcia
Enrique was born in Mazatlán, Mexico, and came to Christ in 2007. He moved to Tucson, completed a Corazón internship, and now directs Spanish-speaking Ministries and “Hearts on Fire.” He equips leaders, interprets teachings, and shares the gospel through evangelism, discipleship, and apologetics. He’s married to his wife, Lorena, with three children.

Liz Hernandez
Liz Hernandez joined the ministry staff in September 2022 as Executive Administrative Assistant. She supports finances, office management, and the Executive Director. A Tucson resident for 15 years, Liz has served in various volunteer roles since 2016 and is passionate about encouraging and supporting women. She has two daughters, Lupe and Zayida.

Alexis P.
Alexis joined the Corazón staff in the fall of 2022. She currently serves by supporting communications, women’s ministries, and assists Missionary & Co-founder, Claire Alameda. Alexis was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona.
Mary Yantis
Mary is a woman of deep faith, known for her warmth and kindness. A Tucson native with three adult children, she values Christian education and served for years at Cornerstone Christian Academy. She now works in bookkeeping at Gospel Rescue Mission and supports Corazón Ministries. Mary enjoys audiobooks, movies, and walks.
